Chapter 7: Isles of Argyll & Ulster

The blogpost. Two month of many Isles: past the Small Isles, round Ardnamurchan Head, then around Mull, into the sweeping tides of the Firth of Lorne and towards the Mull of Kintyre. A mixture of wet souwesterlies and bright easterlies made for seas that seemed to be transformed each day. Then, on the other side of the Sea of Moyle, visits to Tory, Gola, Aranmore and a host of other Donegal islands. This was a journey across an island world, split today by the the Irish/Scottish border, but still held together by a host of factors rooted in prior geographies.
